Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier to the global Life Science industry with solutions and services for research, biotechnology development, pharmaceutical drug therapy development and production. They are looking for their new Field Service Engineer to join their ANZ team in Melbourne, VIC to support their Lab Water Purification Systems.
Key Responsibilities - Install, service and maintain Life Science instruments
- Build specific product knowledge and competencies on a specialist portfolio of equipment.
- Identify, analyse and repair product failures.
- Order and replace parts, as needed.
- Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customer’s needs
- Support customers across academia, environmental, pharmaceutical and clinical market segments
- Support other states / territories where required.
About you - Must have Field Service Engineer or Technical Service experience.
- Ideally – Water Purification and Electronics background
- Should have sound knowledge in electrical repair
- Must be physically able to perform tasks required in installing, repairing and servicing instrumentation.
- Should have experience and sound understanding of tools and equipment such as multimeters, conductivity meters and drills (fit for purpose of the FSE role)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with both written and verbal communication.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s licence.
- Should have Induction (White) Card
- Must be willing to travel interstate and/or overseas if required.
