About the Company
Our client is a reputable Pathology service provider, with a national presence within the Australian market. With a busy central laboratory based in a hospital in Darlinghurst and 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW.
About the RoleIn your role as Scientific Officer or Technical Officer you will be process samples in the haematology lab and loading them on to the automated analyzers. You will be taught how to use and troubleshoot the analyzers as well as how to interpret the results. You will also be expected to answer the phone and phone results through.
You will always be supported by a team, including the managers who are also on the bench.
This is a casual assignment, hours/days will vary. You will be working day shifts, until you are you will have the ability to work afternoon and weekend shifts.
About You - Bachelor in Science relevant to the discipline
- Previous experience in a clinical Haematology environment
- AIMS accreditation if you hold a qualification from overseas
- Ability to start ASAP and flexibility around working hours
- Work in a team environment
- An opportunity to gain experience in a busy hospital lab
- Already based in Sydney with full working rights for Australia
