The Opportunity The opportunity is available for Scientist - Analytics to join the VVMF facility. Reporting directly to the Hiring Manager, you will be responsible for
assisting in the development, optimisation, qualification and validation of critical Analytics assays to support the process development and GMP production of Adeno-associated viral (AAV) and Lentiviral (LV) vectors ensuring timely delivery of analytical services.
Key Responsibilities: - Innovate: Develop and optimize critical analytical assays, ensuring the seamless production and development of viral vectors.
- Collaborate: Work alongside cross-functional teams, providing analytical expertise to bolster process development and manufacturing initiatives.
- Perform Quality Control: Execute quality control assays and support the design and conduct of gene therapy vector assays.
- Operate and Maintain: Oversee the daily operations of the lab, manage equipment installation and maintenance, and be the go-to person for troubleshooting.
- Drive Improvement: Identify and implement continuous improvement strategies and contribute to the technology transfer process.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Qualifications: - Science degree or equivalent experience in pharmaceutical, biological, or health sciences.
- Proven experience in viral vector manufacturing analytics, cell and tissue culture of both adherent and suspension mammalian cells.
- Proficient in technical assays, including qPCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry, ELISA, and chromatography.
- Knowledgeable about Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and relevant clinical trial frameworks.
