About the Company

Our client is a renowned biotechnology firm that specialises in advanced microbial analysis, with a strong focus on developing innovative solutions to enhance human health. We have established a partnership with them to seek out a dynamic, driven and proactive Senior Sales Medical Specialist in Sydney. 
 
About the Role 

The position will be vital in promoting and selling advanced diagnostic solutions to General Practitioners (GPs), Gastroenterologist Specialists, and other important medical specialists in the region. The person selected will have the responsibility of boosting sales in Sydney by implementing effective sales strategies, working with partners, and building relationships within the medical community. This is a senior-level role with potential for leadership development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell diagnostic solutions to General Practitioners and Gastroenterologist Specialists in the Sydney Metro area.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to deliver outstanding results in sales target achievement and market share expansion.
  • Deliver existing, and continuously build, strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within healthcare facilities and practices.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure clinician satisfaction and retention.
  • Successfully collaborate with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market activities, and competitor developments.
About You
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in a similar role with a strong network across the healthcare and medical diagnostics field. 
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience selling to General Practitioners; experience with Gastroenterologist Specialists preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the healthcare industry and diagnostic testing market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
